When I was working as a product designer in the Australian-Sri Lankan university partnerships to develop community based waste recycling businesses project as the inhouse product designer I could access most of the waste materials in the country. From them my main attraction was Industrial waste because of several reasons.

1. Most of the industrial waste was already segregated and uncontaminated
2. Available in large quantities
3. A range of material was available
4. Manufacturers were willing to find a solution for them

I did many experiments with industrial waste and as a result I was able to manufacture a range of materials and products from them.
